The “Hotline for Employers and Employees in Time of War” project is a joint initiative of IT Works and Kav Mashve, based on the experience and knowledge accumulated by both NGOs that have a wide audience of Arab academics in the labor market. The joint effort within the framework of this initiative seeks to halt the deterioration and great difficulties created because of the war between Arab academics working in a variety of workplaces, and Jewish workers in joint Jewish and Arab workplaces.
Background story:
As part of their efforts to help Arab workers and employers cope with the challenges of war, IT Works and Kav Mashve launched the “Hotline for Employers and Employees in Time of War” project, which provides online advice and support, as well as a call center to help deal with the psychological and social effects of the conflict. The project includes webinars for employers, ongoing career counseling on various issues related to labor relations between Jews and Arabs, in addition to a call center operated by experts in this field responds to problems arising regarding labor relations between Jews and Arabs, personal security, employees’ layoff, etc.

Impact:
1. Social and psychological support: The project provided social and psychological support to Arab employees and employers facing challenges because of the war and the tensions caused by it.
2. Promoting awareness and adaptation: The project helped raise employees’ and employers’ awareness about ways to cope with stress and conflicts in the workplace and improve their adaptation abilities.
3. Strengthening solidarity and cooperation: The project encouraged solidarity and cooperation among members of society to cope with the difficult circumstances of war.
