The Catholic Scout Center works to develop young and socially engaged Catholic Scout leadership, focusing on strengthening Catholic identity.

Background story:

The emergency center provides assistance and initial response to all residents of Shfar’am. “We always work hard to be ready to provide the support our community needs in times of crisis. We have trained teams ready to act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.”

The emergency call center operates through five teams:

1. The medical and paramedical support team follows medical and paramedical protocols to provide first aid to injured people in the event of a mass emergency accident.

2. The rescue team (Home Front Command) that has undergone extensive training and certification by the Home Front Command and operates according to specific protocols and procedures for any scenario or situation that requires a rescue team.

3. The food and beverage team that distributes and serves food and water to those in need.

4. The logistics and technical team are responsible for operating generators, electrical work, and vehicles as needed.

5. The training and supervision team that guides other teams according to the scenario in the field, provides response via telephone to Shfar’am residents, manages documents, lists, and equipment at the emergency center.
