The Coalition is an initiative of dozens of Palestinian Arab civil society organizations, NGOs, and activists in Israel, whose goal is to serve as a source of sustainable professional reference that coordinates the handling of emergencies in Arab society.

“We established the Coalition because we realized that Arab society is unprepared for emergencies. The lack of an integrative body that includes Arab NGOs and civil society institutions makes it difficult to deal with such situations. With the outbreak of the current state of emergency, we urgently needed to launch a media campaign in Arab society aimed at maintaining social safety and resilience by raising awareness of behavior on social media and expressing opinions in the public sphere. The campaign appealed to youth in Arab society. It was based on realizing the fears, the sense of helplessness, and the inability to influence the public arena. At the same time, the campaign emphasized many complex hardships that Arab society has undergone and sharpened its ability to get through this period. We contacted a number of donors from our society who donated NIS 30,000 to the campaign. Thanks to Qudra, we matched the donations, including doubling the moral and mental value, because this support means that our Arab society believes in us and supports us. Organizations see great significance in this.”
